Each lamp is turned from solid pine in a deep, dark stain, with a rounded head held in a curved wooden yoke, so the shade can be tilted to direct the light exactly where you need it. The round base lets them stand as table lamps or mount on the wall as sconces.

The original ivory fabric shades are gathered at the base and finished with a crocheted lace border, a charming country detail that softens the dark wood and gives a warm, diffused glow. Placed on either side of a bed or a sofa, they bring true Swedish cottage character to Scandinavian, rustic and cabin interiors.

Details

Set of two, Markslöjd, Kinna, Sweden

Solid dark stained pine, tilting head in a wooden yoke

Original fabric shades with crocheted lace trim

White cords with inline switch and European plug

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age, including light age spots on the fabric and a small loose thread on one lace border

Original wiring
These lamps have their original European 230 V wiring and plugs.
