Ceramic Lamp Set – Bruno Karlsson, EGO Stengods, Sweden, 1970s

A rare and striking set of four brutalist stoneware lamp shades by Bruno Karlsson for EGO Stengods Atelje, Sweden, circa 1970s. Each globe-shaped shade features a heavily textured surface with circular perforations, creating a dramatic play of light and shadow when illuminated. The organic, barnacle-like texture is characteristic of Karlsson's distinctive sculptural approach to functional ceramics.

The shades are finished in a muted earth-tone glaze with subtle grey-green undertones, and the interiors reveal a rich terracotta-brown. Each piece is signed on the base: "EGO Stengods Atelje" with the artist's mark. One shade retains its original white cord.

Condition: Very good vintage condition consistent with age and use. Minor variations between pieces add to their handmade character.
