Collection: Vintage Christmas Decor – Scandinavian & Swedish Christmas

A Swedish Jul at Home

Christmas in Sweden is built around light, red and white textiles and the tomte, the small bearded gnome who guards the farm. This collection gathers vintage Christmas decor in that spirit, found in Swedish attics and estate sales.

Textiles lead the way: burlap and linen tomte wall hangings, a gingerbread linen panel pair, a framed Christmas tapestry in teak, a tomte tablecloth set and Santa cross stitch wall art. For candlelight there are a hammered copper Advent candle tray for four pillar candles, a hand painted allmoge candelabra, pine candle holders by Stig Jansson and Bengt Larsson, and a pair of gold silk Christmas star window lamps from the 1960s. A painted wooden Yule goat, a red Christmas table lamp with holly shade and ceramic mulled wine pots with candle warmers complete the vintage pieces.

We also include a few new Scandinavian Christmas wall clocks with God Jul, tomte and Dala horse designs. They are clearly marked as new in their listings. Order early, since most vintage Christmas decor here is one of a kind.
