A charming set of five framed counted cross stitch pictures, each one stitched entirely by hand with soft pastel threads. Together they tell a quiet story of a summer country garden, perfect for a gallery wall.
The five garden scenes:
- A young girl in a long white dress among blooming flowers
- An old cast iron water pump with a watering can and pots of pink geraniums
- A vintage bicycle with a flower basket in front of a window framed by climbing roses
- A green garden bench with a straw hat and a basket full of flowers
- A little bistro table and chair surrounded by delphiniums and potted flowers
Each picture holds thousands of tiny hand-made stitches, and a design of this size takes many hours, often weeks of patient work to complete. The fine color shading in the flowers, the water pump and the girl’s dress shows real skill and care, the kind of handwork that is rarely made today.
All five are framed alike in sage green wooden frames with a soft floral marbled pattern and a gold inner lip, ready to hang.
This listing is for the full set of five pictures.
