Authentic 1970s Swedish handcrafted pendant lamp, signed Byalaget — a traditional village craft collective. The drum-shaped frame is built from solid pine slats with hessian (jute) panels, each accented with a hand-applied spånros (wood shaving rosette) in classic Scandinavian folk tradition. The pine features a gently charred brännteknik finish that highlights the natural grain.
When lit, the hessian diffuses a soft, honey-warm glow while the pine slats cast beautiful linear shadows. Perfect for dining rooms, kitchens, cabins, or any space that calls for rustic Nordic character.
