A charming miniature Swedish Mora-style clock, hand-painted in soft cream with delicate folk-art pansies in purple, lilac and golden yellow. The classic Mora silhouette – curved bombé belly, slender waist and crowned hood – is finished with painted scrollwork borders and a scalloped flower frame around the dial. The face carries the traditional Mora-style script and Arabic numerals.
This is a decorative tabletop / shelf version of the iconic Swedish longcase clock, perfect for a mantel, console or cabinet. The hand-painted pansy bouquets and warm Gustavian palette make it a lovely piece of Scandinavian folk-art decor.
The clock is battery-operated (quartz movement) and in working order, so it keeps time as well as looking beautiful.
