A pair of vintage Scandinavian candlesticks, turned from solid hardwood in classic mid-century modern style.
Each candlestick has a slender, tapering stem that rises from a ringed collar and a round, stepped base to a tulip-shaped candle cup. The wood has a deep, warm reddish-brown tone with visible grain and a glossy finish. The two candlesticks are a close match, with small natural differences typical of hand-turned wood.
They fit standard taper candles and look beautiful on a dining table, mantel or windowsill, together or with other Scandinavian wood pieces.
Measurements (each): height 23 cm (9 in).
Condition: good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. Wax residue inside the candle cups and small marks on the bases. Please see all photos for details.
For safety, never leave burning candles unattended.
