Swedish Allmoge Needlepoint Cushion, Folk Figures and Tassels, Vintage Pillow

This vintage Swedish Allmoge cushion brings traditional folk-art storytelling into the home. Its hand-stitched wool needlepoint front depicts two figures in traditional costume, surrounded by flowers, stylized birds and geometric ornaments. Braided cords and tassels frame the richly textured design.

Deep navy blue contrasts with warm red, muted green, cream, earthy brown and small yellow accents. The central figurative scene and surrounding patterned panels create an expressive focal point for a linen sofa, armchair or country-style bedroom.

This is an embroidered cushion, not a woven throw. Display it as a decorative textile accent alongside natural fabrics and other collected Scandinavian pieces.

Care: Handle gently, support the cushion during storage and avoid machine washing or pulling the decorative cords. As the complete fiber composition and colorfastness have not been verified, consult a textile-cleaning specialist before cleaning.

A characterful piece of Swedish textile craftsmanship for a Nordic, rustic or folk-art interior. Decorative accessories shown in the photographs are not included. Colors may vary slightly with lighting and screen settings.
