Teak Table Lamp Base – Stone Mosaic Inlay, Scandinavian Mid-Century, 1970s

A solid teak table lamp base from the 1970s, featuring a distinctive circular stone mosaic inlay set into the square base — a medallion of white and dark grey crushed stone fragments embedded in resin, framed by the warm grain of the wood. The sculptural silhouette, with its bottle-neck stem rising from a heavy rectilinear base, is a confident expression of Scandinavian mid-century design with a brutalist edge.
The natural teak grain is beautifully visible on the neck and base, with the characteristic warm reddish-brown tone that only deepens with age. A piece that works equally well on a bedside table, writing desk, or console — with or without a shade.
No shade included. Sold as a lamp base only.
