Handcrafted sets of this quality and coherence have become increasingly uncommon, particularly within Sweden. Design, material and proportion remain entirely intact.

The pieces are upholstered in a soft velvet with a gentle sheen. Like all good velvet, the fabric changes with the light: it reads pale and luminous in daylight and turns deeper and richer in the evening, so the set looks a little different at every hour of the day. The soft beige tone with its subtle golden undertone pairs beautifully with natural wood, limestone, muted whites and gilt accents, so the set sits comfortably in both classical and Scandinavian interiors.
